About

Marcia was born in Canada and currently lives in London, England.  She enjoys traveling and sharing her experiences through blogging and photos.  She first started traveling after university and had a goal to do 5 major trips: France and Italy; Egypt; Brazil and Argentina; South East Asia and Africa.  As she started ticking off the trips, she started adding more and more destinations to her list.  When in Brazil, being mistaken  for a local, she realized that as a traveler, you are never fully exposed to the culture.  It’s as though you are in a bubble moving through and only observing.  Then the desire came to relocate to London and immerse herself in a different culture.  London was a fantastic location for more traveling and for more conversing with fellow travelers.  This site contains blogs from her travels since she moved to London in 2005.  To see some of her travel pics, use this link http://cid-1db8a41159295e1e.photos.live.com/albums.aspx

Hello this is Lee, we joined in Vietnam and shared a bus and hotel in Hoian,
remember? I see you are well. I started to read your blog after I found your note in the agenda of my journey of spring 2012. You are a good writer Marcia.
At the end of next week, I’m leaving for New York and San Francisco. Than visit a friend I met and travelled with in Laos. He lives in Washington state and organized a R&B festival which I’ll join! After that I’ll jump the Canadian border and visit Japanese friends and children in Vancouver. Stay there a while and see bears and moos and maybe puma’s and wolves.
Going around like gipsy in Canada.
Take care of yourself and watch your health.
    I think of you.
oh a few month ago I worked at NPL Teddington-London at the National Physics Laboratory. Had a luxury hotel there.
    Bye bye…Xxx

Lee! So good to hear from you. Yes, I remember you! I’m glad that you enjoyed the blog. Sounds like you’ve been very busy travelling. I had to take a break and start earning again after my trip. I had a few weekend trips around Europe, but then did some small holidays this winter. I still have to write about Japan, so stay tuned! In your trip to Canada, make sure you see more than the west coast! The east side of Canada is just as interesting! Have a great time there and speak soon!
