Laos, the Land of Waterfalls

My final stop on my travels ended up being Laos.  I really wanted to return to Laos because I hadn’t spent much time here before.  This trip was concentrated on visiting the south of Laos.  I had heard great things about the south, especially about 4000 Islands and I couldn’t wait to get there.  But first, we started in Pakse and headed to Vat Phou in Champasak.

Our next stop was to the Bolaven Plateau which would offer some cooler temperatures.  I started to realize on this trip that Laos is the country of waterfalls.  While on this two day road trip, we saw plenty of waterfalls.
